US dairy cooperative slam congress "Dairy Cliff" Deal.
Subject : Dairy Farmers Of America (DFA) and O'Lakes have slammed congress' recent decision to extend the government's milk buying programme.

On 1st January, the US Congress cleared the 'fiscal Cliff' deal - a bill designed to avoid tax hikes & spending cuts. The bill also contained a nine-month extension on a number of recently expired 2008 Farm Law programmes.
These programme have noe been extended until 30th september 2013.
